From Component Development to Mold Toolmaking
Mold design is a crucial phase to ensure quality, reliability, and repeatability in the production of die-cast aluminum components.
We support clients from the earliest design stages, offering technical assistance in component development and feasibility studies. The goal is to optimize geometries, functionality, and the manufacturing process before launching full-scale production.
We collaborate with qualified mold makers with proven experience to define tooling specifications, ensuring high construction standards and consistent long-term performance.
Using CAD/CAM software, we also design and manufacture custom machining jigs and fixtures in- house, guaranteeing precision, repeatability, and seamless integration with subsequent production stages.
Rigorous Inspections at Every Production Stage
Quality is a central element of our production process. Since 2009, Fondart has been certified UNI EN ISO 9001, the benchmark standard for quality management across the entire production chain.
Our Quality Department performs dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on components, both during the manufacturing process and on the finished product, to ensure full compliance with requested customer specifications.
Constant monitoring of process parameters allows us to prevent potential criticalities, reduce scrap, and maintain high quality levels over time.
Key activities include the management of technical documentation, verification of customer specifications, non-conformity monitoring, and the implementation of corrective actions when necessary.
